تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ونيابة عن ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، حضر أمير منطقة الرياض الأمير فيصل بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز مساء اليوم حفل افتتاح دورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي السادسة، التي ستقام خلال الفترة من 7 إلى 21 نوفمبر 2025، بمشاركة (57) دولة إسلامية.
وكان في استقباله لدى وصوله لمقر الحفل وزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية رئيس الاتحاد الرياضي للتضامن الإسلامي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل بن عبدالعزيز.
وبعد السلام الملكي، ألقى أمير منطقة الرياض كلمة بهذه المناسبة، قال فيها: «برعاية كريمة من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ونيابة عن ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، أعلن الافتتاح الرسمي للنسخة السادسة من دورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي (الرياض 2025)، متمنياً لجميع المشاركين كل التوفيق والنجاح».
وبهذه المناسبة، قال وزير الرياضة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل بن عبدالعزيز: «إن الرعاية الملكية الكريمة لهذه الدورة تمثل امتداداً كريماً لما تحظى به الرياضة من مكانة مهمة لدى القيادة وحرصها على تقديم نسخة مثالية من هذه التظاهرة الإسلامية، باجتماع أكثر من 57 دولة إسلامية برياضييها في قلب المملكة العربية السعودية الرياض، وتجسيداً ملموساً لما يوليه ولي العهد من اهتمام كبير بالرياضة والرياضيين من مختلف دول العالم الإسلامي»، كما ثمن لأمير منطقة الرياض تشريفه حفل الافتتاح وإعلان انطلاق الدورة، متمنياً كل التوفيق والنجاح لجميع المشاركين في هذه الدورة، التي تعزز قيمة الأخوة والتضامن الإسلامي.
عقب ذلك ألقى الأمين العام المساعد لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي السفير طارق علي بخيت كلمة بهذه المناسبة، أعرب فيها عن خالص الشكر والتقدير للمملكة العربية السعودية على دعمها وجهودها في تعزيز العمل الإسلامي المشترك، تحت القيادة الحكيمة لخادم الحرمين الشريفين، وولي عهده رئيس مجلس الوزراء.
وأكد السفير بخيت أن منظمة التعاون الإسلامي تولي أهمية بالغة لدورة ألعاب التضامن الإسلامي، بصفتها أكبر حدث رياضي في منظومة المنظمة، التي تُجسّد قيم التضامن والأخوة الإسلامية.
وشهدت مراسم حفل الافتتاح عروضاً فنية وثقافية تعكس القيم الإسلامية المشتركة، وتُبرز ما تزخر به المملكة من موروث حضاري وثقافي عريق، إلى جانب استعراض الوفود المشاركة، إيذاناً بانطلاق المنافسات الرياضية التي تستمر حتى الـ21 من نوفمبر الجاري.
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on behalf of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, attended the opening ceremony of the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, which will take place from November 7 to 21, 2025, with the participation of (57) Islamic countries.
He was received upon his arrival at the venue by the Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz.
After the royal anthem, the Governor of Riyadh delivered a speech on this occasion, stating: "With the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on behalf of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, I announce the official opening of the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), wishing all participants the best of luck and success."
On this occasion, the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, said: "The generous royal patronage of this event represents a noble extension of the significant position that sports hold with the leadership and its commitment to providing an ideal version of this Islamic event, with the gathering of more than 57 Islamic countries and their athletes in the heart of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, reflecting the great interest that the Crown Prince has in sports and athletes from various Islamic countries." He also expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Riyadh for honoring the opening ceremony and announcing the launch of the games, wishing all participants success in this event, which enhances the values of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity.
Following that, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakhit, delivered a speech on this occasion, expressing his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its support and efforts in promoting joint Islamic work, under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Ambassador Bakhit emphasized that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation places great importance on the Islamic Solidarity Games, as it is the largest sporting event within the organization, embodying the values of solidarity and Islamic brotherhood.
The opening ceremony featured artistic and cultural performances that reflect common Islamic values and highlight the rich cultural and civilizational heritage of the Kingdom, alongside the presentation of the participating delegations, signaling the start of the sports competitions that will continue until November 21 of this month.
