ماتت تحت التعذيب.. والدان يقتلان طفلتهما بوحشية - الأول نيوز

في واقعة مروّعة هزّت الرأي العام الأمريكي، أصدرت محكمة في ولاية فرجينيا أحكاماً بالسجن على والدين أدينا بالتسبب في مقتل طفلتهما البالغة تسعة أيام فقط، بعد تعرضها لإصابات مروعة لا تتناسب مع روايتهما حول حادثة سقوط.

وقضت المحكمة بسجن هيلاري جونسون الثاني، البالغ من العمر 24 سنة، لمدة 19 عاماً، بينما حكمت على زيبريا إس. باركر، البالغة 22 سنة، بالسجن عشر سنوات، بعد اتفاق قضائي أُسقطت بموجبه تهمة القتل عن الأم وتهمة إساءة معاملة الأطفال عن الأب.

وتعود القضية إلى الرابع من مايو عام 2024، حين وصل الوالدان إلى مستشفى الأطفال التابع لجامعة كينغز دوترز حاملين طفلتهما فاقدة الوعي وباردة الجسد، مدّعين أنها سقطت من عربة الأطفال قبل يومين. غير أن الفحوص الطبية كشفت حروقاً عميقة في القدمين، وجروحاً في الرأس والوجه، وكدمات في الظهر، وكسوراً متعددة في الأضلاع، وهو ما أكد عدم صدق روايتهما.

وأثبت تقرير الطب الشرعي أن وفاة الرضيعة، التي دُعيت «إيجايا»، نتجت عن إصابات رضّية قوية في الرأس والصدر، إضافة إلى حروق ناتجة عن سائل ساخن ساهمت في وفاتها.

وقال المدعي العام رامين فاتيهي تعليقًا على الحكم: «لا توجد ضحية أكثر هشاشة من طفل حديث الولادة، جاءت إيجايا إلى العالم تبحث عن الحب، لكنها وجدت الألم والموت».

كما كشف جد الطفلة هيلاري جونسون الأب أنه حذّر الأطباء عند ولادتها من خطورة تسليمها لوالديها، قائلاً: «قلت لهم إنني أخشى على حياتها، لم يكن ينبغي أن تغادر المستشفى أبداً».

وأثارت القضية غضبًا واسعًا عبر وسائل الإعلام الأمريكية، ووصفتها التقارير بأنها واحدة من أبشع جرائم العنف الأسري في تاريخ فرجينيا.

In a horrific incident that shook American public opinion, a court in Virginia sentenced parents who were convicted of causing the death of their nine-day-old daughter, after she suffered horrific injuries that did not match their account of a falling accident.

The court sentenced Hillary Johnson II, 24 years old, to 19 years in prison, while Zabria S. Parker, 22 years old, received a ten-year sentence, following a plea deal in which the murder charge against the mother and the child abuse charge against the father were dropped.

The case dates back to May 4, 2024, when the parents arrived at the King’s Daughters Children’s Hospital carrying their daughter unconscious and cold, claiming she had fallen from her stroller two days earlier. However, medical examinations revealed deep burns on her feet, wounds on her head and face, bruises on her back, and multiple rib fractures, which confirmed the inconsistency of their story.

A forensic report established that the infant, named “Igyah,” died from severe blunt force injuries to the head and chest, in addition to burns caused by hot liquid that contributed to her death.

Commenting on the verdict, Prosecutor Ramin Fatihi stated: “There is no more vulnerable victim than a newborn. Igyah came into the world seeking love, but she found pain and death.”

The child's grandfather, Hillary Johnson Sr., revealed that he warned doctors at her birth about the dangers of handing her over to her parents, saying: “I told them I feared for her life; she should never have left the hospital.”

The case sparked widespread outrage across American media, with reports describing it as one of the most heinous cases of domestic violence in Virginia's history.
