أعلنت مؤسسة الإمارات للدواء عن سحب منتج «هونغ تاي هيربل إنهيلر (يادوم)»، المنشّق التايلندي، من جميع أسواق الدولة، بعد ثبوت تلوث ميكروبي في عدد من تشغيلات المنتج المتداولة محلياً، وذلك حرصاً على صحة وسلامة المرضى والمجتمع.
وبينت أن الإجراء بدأ عقب تحذير رسمي صادر من هيئة الغذاء والدواء التايلندية بشأن تلوث تشغيلة واحدة من المنتج؛ وبناء عليه بادرت المؤسسة باتخاذ خطوات فورية للتأكد من سلامة باقي التشغيلات المتداولة في الدولة.
وأكدت أن الفحوص المخبرية التي أجراها مختبر الجودة التابع لها على عينات تم سحبها من الأسواق، أظهرت وجود تلوث ميكروبي يتجاوز الحدود المسموح بها لمستحضرات الاستنشاق وفقاً للدساتير الدوائية العالمية، ما قد يشكل خطراً محتملاً على صحة المستخدمين.
ونتيجة لذلك، اتخذت المؤسسة قراراً بسحب المنتج بجميع تشغيلاته من الأسواق، وعدم الاكتفاء بالتشغيلات التي شملها التحذير التايلندي، وطالبت أفراد المجتمع بعدم استخدام المنتج والتخلص من أي عبوات لديهم.
وأشارت المؤسسة إلى أن عمليات السحب تتم بالتنسيق مع البلديات والجهات الرقابية المعنية لضمان إزالة المنتج من جميع منافذ البيع، بما في ذلك المتاجر الإلكترونية.
وأكدت المؤسسة أن هذه الإجراءات تأتي ضمن استراتيجيتها الهادفة إلى ترسيخ منظومة الأمن الدوائي في الدولة وضمان استدامة توفير الأدوية بأعلى معايير الجودة والسلامة.
وشددت على أن نظامها الرقابي المتكامل يعتمد على التحليل الاستباقي للمخاطر ورصد سلاسل الإمداد، بالتعاون مع الجهات الصحية الاتحادية والمحلية، وتبنّي الحلول الرقمية والذكاء الاصطناعي في تتبع المنتجات الدوائية.
The Emirates Drug Corporation announced the withdrawal of the product "Hong Tai Herbal Inhaler (Yadom)," the Thai inhaler, from all markets in the country, after confirming microbial contamination in several batches of the product circulating locally, in order to ensure the health and safety of patients and the community.
The corporation indicated that the action began following an official warning issued by the Thai Food and Drug Administration regarding the contamination of one batch of the product; consequently, the corporation took immediate steps to ensure the safety of the remaining batches circulating in the country.
It confirmed that laboratory tests conducted by its quality laboratory on samples withdrawn from the markets showed microbial contamination exceeding the permissible limits for inhalation products according to global pharmacopoeias, which may pose a potential risk to users' health.
As a result, the corporation decided to withdraw the product with all its batches from the markets, not limiting itself to the batches included in the Thai warning, and urged community members not to use the product and to dispose of any containers they have.
The corporation noted that the withdrawal operations are being coordinated with municipalities and relevant regulatory authorities to ensure the removal of the product from all sales outlets, including online stores.
The corporation emphasized that these measures are part of its strategy aimed at establishing a pharmaceutical security system in the country and ensuring the sustainable provision of medicines with the highest standards of quality and safety.
It stressed that its integrated regulatory system relies on proactive risk analysis and monitoring of supply chains, in cooperation with federal and local health authorities, and adopting digital solutions and artificial intelligence in tracking pharmaceutical products.
